I've been praying about doing a blog and I really felt lead by the Lord to do one. So, here I am!
My first post is about women being keepers at home. I am so blessed and so thankful that I am a keeper at home! I have a Godly husband that believes the word of God. He loves the Lord and he knows that God doesn't change. Yesterday, Today, Forever, Jesus is the same!
Of course the world thinks that women HAVE to work out of the home to make ends meet. Negative! So many women say "I have to work. We can't make it without my income" or "These days both of you have to work, things are more expensive" or "Times have changed" Really??? Hmmm.....has God changed? God's word says in Titus 2:5-To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed. Praise the Lord! What happened to trusting God? What happened to making a few sacrifices by staying at home, because it's God's word. The world and most people in it have changed.
The KJV Bible says keepers at home, hmmm...not keepers out of the home, not keepers in the workplace...not only that, how can a woman work under a boss (most of the time a man) and be obedient and in subjection to her own husband? (I Peter 3)
So many people try to argue this with Proverbs 31. A virtuous woman is a keeper at home. Plain and simple. God's word says so!
